Home Inspectors and home inspection companies, in many cases, fared well while others suffered through the pandemic lock-down of 2020. Home inspection professional associations–not so much. VAREI, in particular, did what it could.
We teamed up with the Northern Virginia ASHI chapter to host a reasonably successful seminar in October of 2020 where we showcased Mike Casey. We built on that success with a greater team effort supported by all the Virginia ASHI chapters in May of 2021. Our all-star lineup of speakers included Joe Denneler, Douglas Hanson, Bronson Anderson, Shane McClung and Dave Goldberg.
By October of 2021 we were pretty much back in the saddle. For safety reasons the board decided to hold the annual meeting online, but other than that, we were pretty much back to business as usual. We had our conventional lineup of speakers, held our elections and seated a new board of directors. Congratulations to us–the Virginia Home Inspector’s Voice in Richmond!
